Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CloudSH ("Service"), operated by CloudSH ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

CloudSH provides browser-based access to self-hosted terminal servers. The Service consists of:

• Client application (app.cloudsh.io) — a web interface for connecting to your servers.
• Relay service (relay.cloudsh.io) — connection brokering, server registration, pairing code resolution, and subdomain routing.
• Server software — open-source software you install on your own hardware to enable remote terminal access.

We do not host, operate, or have access to your servers. The server software runs on your hardware under your control. We provide the relay infrastructure that enables connectivity between your devices and your servers.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. One person or legal entity per account — shared accounts are not permitted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks or abuse the relay infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or servers.
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or other security measures.
• Use the relay service to proxy traffic unrelated to CloudSH server access.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

5. Plans and Billing

CloudSH offers a free tier and paid plans. The free tier includes one server with full functionality. Paid plans unlock additional features such as unlimited servers, custom subdomains, and priority relay routing.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are in USD. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal — access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions continue at their current rate until the next renewal after the notice period.

6. Your Data and Servers

You retain all rights to the data on your self-hosted servers. CloudSH does not access, store, or transmit your server data beyond what is necessary for the relay service to function (connection metadata, server status, tunnel URLs).

You are solely responsible for the security, backup, and legal compliance of your self-hosted servers and the data they contain.

7. Intellectual Property

The CloudSH server software is open-source under the MIT License. The client application, relay service, branding, and documentation are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them except as expressly permitted.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The relay service may experience downtime for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control. Self-hosted servers depend on your hardware and network — their availability is your responsibility.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloudSH is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, we will remove your profile, server registrations, and associated data from our systems within 30 days.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. In the case of a paid account suspension for Terms violations, no refund is provided.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
